The staff was friendly and helpful (once they missed my burger). The prices are the same as in the town. The view is fascinating and breathtaking.

Weird menu (fresh fish, but also Asian dishes). Had several mistakes to our order, which they later corrected. Had the smoked char (very salty and not warm), but the view is very nice.

Friendly staff, horrible food. Food was very plain, cold and minimal effort was put in cooking it. The location is nice, but that's it.

We were here with family in August. At about 6 pm almost all the food ran out, and the fact that we were able to order had to wait for almost an hour.

Firstly this restaurant is right next to hallstat lake so naturally has one of the best view of the lake and the mountains around! My 5 star is for the food they serve and hassle free service. Such amazing food and great beer for affordable price. A must visit. I am definitely going there again

Situated lakeside with great views. One can sit for long hours gazing at the nature.

They are closed from September onwards.

The view is great. The food is OK. The service is rude. They bill you €1.50 per bottle of tap water! There is nothing to change the baby or heat baby's food. And there is loud commercial music on speakers that doesn't quite balance with the outstanding scenic view and the calm of the majestic Hallstatt lake.

Waren gestern um 21:30 hier um 22:00 mussten wir bezahlen weil Sperrstunde ist,laut Internet jedoch erst um 23:00. Weitere Gäste wurden einfach abgewiesen kein gutes Bild für einen Pächter

The "Hot chocolate" wasn't hot nor had chocolate. It should have been called cold milk instead. The kitchen only opens 12:00 so I don't understand why searching for "breakfast" brings up this place. The cappuccino was also cold. There was only 2 tables occupied and we got tired of waiting and went look for the menu ourselves. The chocolate cake was dry and not worth it.

Simply overloaded and just forgot our order. Left without eating after 50 min.

Christina the lady was damnnnnnn RUDE !!!! Order took soOOO LONG, more than 1 hour !!! Never ever coming here again.. she treated me like trash, not like a customoer supposed to be treated.. really really rude!! If you are reading this, please fix your attitude geez thanks ! :)

Good local food

Christina the lady waiter was so rude. The order took longer than an hour to come and when we asked if we could order the dessert she gave us the rude look and asked to sit back. Super unfriendly to tourists.

Great food with an amazing view. Nothing to dislike. I will return if I ever visit Obertraun again.

Excellent! Located directly on Lake Hallstatt. Delicious food, large portions, fair prices and the staff is very friendly. What more do you want?

Gorgeous surrounding and a quite place to dip in summer

On a busy summer day when it was impossible to get a parking near Hallstatt, this place was a life saver. Great view of the nearby lake too. The food was average.

The staff wasn't kind, they forgot are order for 40 minutes and ignored us, perhaps because we weren't locals.

The bread was stale on meal. Music is too loud, has many commercials, and generally ruins the atomosphere.

Amazing view & decent food.It's a nicely situated beach café right by the water. The food is good (not great) - small menu with a balance of local and tourist food, just the service was a little slow - at least when we were there. Certainly worth a visit, mainly for the view, not for the service and dining delicacies.

Great views, food was barely ok, a little plain and definitely too pricey for its value.
